（中央社洛杉磯10日綜合外電報導）彭博報導，線上電台潘朵拉媒體公司財務長赫林（Michael Herring）表示，與其付費收聽蘋果公司8日宣布的Apple Music服務，8成民眾傾向收聽網路電台廣告。
他認為，這個差異會讓潘朵拉（Pandora MediaInc.）禁得起來自每個月10美元的Apple Music競爭。潘朵拉是全球最大網路電台公司。他說，因為潘朵拉這類有廣告的線上電台比花錢訂閱更受歡迎，音樂家和唱片公司得以觸及更多聽眾，然後銷售更多周邊產品。
他昨天接受CNBC訪問時表示：「更大的商機，至少在美國，在我們的研究看來，是靠廣告支持的。」潘朵拉截至今年首季共有7920萬固定聽眾。
蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）推出音樂串流服務AppleMusic，號稱提供3000萬首歌曲，還有音樂達人策畫的播放清單，也讓音樂人在上面分享歌詞及幕後照片。2001年蘋果開賣iPod，成功幫助唱片業推銷數位音樂。
赫林說：「我們了解消費者會好奇，我們也預期隨著新的服務出現，聽眾會多方接觸然後嘗試不同的服務。」
他表示，潘朵拉的產品「忠誠度很高，即便有許多競爭還是非常成功，我們不認為這會改變。」（譯者：中央社林仟懿）1040610
